Acorn and Dot

F.A.Q.

  1. What is your current turnaround time? Our rule of thumb is to allow up to three weeks for your order to ship. That being said, we are always so excited and anxious to get our orders out and see pictures of our garments in use, so it's possible that it will be sent out sooner!
  2. What is the difference between lined and unlined skirts? Lined skirts are exactly that --- lined! They have an extra layer of opaque apparel liner sewn underneath of the tulle. The unlined skirts are just our standard eight layers of tulle and the finished product looks much more like a traditional tutu. In general, we would say that lined skirts are better for older children or when you want more modesty on your younger ones. Unlined skirts are great to wear in the winter with leggings or tights and year-round layered over a bodysuit or leotard.
  3. How do I care for my garment? All orders are packaged with care instructions depending on what you ordered. If you have more specific questions about how to keep your garment looking its best, feel free to contact us so we can chat about it!
  4. Help! I don't see the color Im looking for listed in the shop! We have recently switched to a season colors system. That means that other than our year-round neutrals, we only stock a handful of colors for each season. If you ever see a color from another season that has sold out or you'd like to discuss a custom order for a special color we don't carry, we love to do what we can to make our customers happy. Contact us to discuss setting up a custom listing.
  5. Where are your products made? Every single order is handmade with love in my home in New Jersey.
  6. Do you accept returns? Unfortunately due to the custom nature of what we make, we are unable to accept returns unless an item arrives damaged.
